哥斯达黎加图里亚尔瓦火山喷发

2015年3月12日，哥斯达黎加境内的图里亚尔瓦火山爆发，火山灰覆盖了该国许多的中央山谷。处于安全考虑，该地区的居民都已被疏散。

据报道，这是过去二十年中最强的一次喷发。火山灰覆盖40公里区域，有几毫米厚。

这座火山已经活跃了数年，但在最近几个月中变得更加活跃，最终达到高峰爆发，这次比以往的喷发更猛。图里亚尔瓦在3月12日喷发三次，第二天又喷发一次。之后再未发生新的喷发，但火山仍处于密切观察中，以免出现进一步的活跃。

人们担心火山熔岩也会从火山中喷发，但之来分析发现，这是岩石在温度非常高时，从图里亚尔瓦爆炸所致。预计火山云将吹向太平洋方向。目前暂无死亡或受伤事故报告。
