热带气旋“吉里”在接近缅甸西海岸时已在印度洋上空加强为四级风暴。据预报，“吉里”在缅甸海岸兰里岛附近登陆。

登陆地点可能在孟加拉国吉大港和缅甸首都仰光之间。

根据现场信息，可能会对当地居民造成较大影响。
