The thirteenth annual report of the International Charter is now available, and describes the Charter's activities throughout 2013.

The Charter was activated 38 times for disasters in 28 countries during 2013. The year also saw EUMETSAT and ROSCOSMOS join the Charter.

EUMETSAT and ROSCOSMOS brought new satellites to the Charter's resources and during 2013 the Canadian satellite RADARSAT-1 and the multi-national SAC-C satellite both ceased operations.
